Born in 1983, Suresh Limbaraj Gulage completed his G.D Art in Painting, Diploma A.Ed from Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalaya, pune. This Pune based artist, is inspired by the beauty of the architectures and the whole puzzle of buildings in a city. He uses abstract cubic forms in his works. Suresh says, "Buildings may be silent spectators, but they make the place alive. I love to watch the light play on buildings. They illuminate on different parts such as the door, the windows and motifs on the wall at various hours of the day and night. I love to capture this and potray it on my canvas".

Suresh is a very creative artist who doles out all his imagination onto a canvas, producing an innovative awe-inspiring work. His expertise in infusing life into buildings and monuments on canvas is a class apart. He highlights the beauty of the buildings in a very subtle yet presentable way.

He has won several awards incuding V V Oak Award, Pune, in 2008; Spot landscape Composition, Kolhapur, 2004 and prizes from Sai Chitrakala Mahavidyalaya, Pune, in 2004; Nashik Kala Niketan, Nashik, in 2003; Chitari Academy, Pune; Bharatiya Kala Mahavidyalaya, Pune, in 2003. He has several solo shows to his credit, and has participated in many important group exhibitions across the Country. His works are in collection with several art lovers in India and abroad.
