Sunita Dinda was born on May 2, 1971, in Jamshedpur. She received a diploma in Fine Arts at Tagore School of Arts and Crafts, Jamshedpur; and BFA from the Rabindra Bharati University, Calcutta. Sunita Dinda paints figuratives, mostly bright coloured men with big white eyes mostly looking upwards which define her unique figurative style.

She has been a part of several art camps and group exhibitions over the years, prominent being Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai, 2010; ‘Verse on Canvas’, Academy of Fine Arts, Kolkata, 2010; NCPA, Mumbai, 2007; ‘Ascent of Art’, annual show of Samanavi Art Gallery, Jaipur, 2006; Rashtriya Llit Kala Kendra, Bhubaneswar, 2005.
