Shivarama Chary was born in 1979 in Telkapally, Andhra Pradesh. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Sculpture from Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University, Hyderabad, in 2002, and his Masters degree from University of Hyderabad, in 2004. He learnt traditional sculpture from his father Y Jagadeeshwara Chary.

Shivarama Chary’s first solo ‘Voyage Infinite’ was shown at India Habitat Centre, in 2007; and ‘The Medium and the Message’, at Kalakriti Art Gallery, Hyderabad in 2010.
