Mallipeddu Chengal Rayulu

Born in 1976, Mallipeddu Chengal Rayulu hails from the temple town of Srikalahasti, Andhra Pradesh. He was born in a traditional weaver s family, he learnt the fine work of Kalamkari art under the supervision of Dr. T Balaji.

After having mastered in Kalamkari art, he has painted lots of mythological figures and themes such as the Shankha Chakra Dharini, Srikalahasteswar Mahathyam, Ramayana, Buddha, Venkateswara Swamy Mahathyam, and others, using Acrylic paints on Canvas. The most recent ones are Krishna, Hanuman, Srirama and Ganesha. One can observe the endless narratives in his paintings.
