Debadeep Ghosh’s works are based on the landscape series of Benaras. He has captured the days and nights of beautiful Benaras. His landscapes are realistic, painted bright and beautiful with effective light and shades. He traces the architectures of Benaras like the steps that lead down the river, temples, and buildings. He has shown the reflections in the holy river very skillfully. He has created the typical scenes of the Benaras Ghat, such as the cows, birds, boats and more. One can see and feel the Indian culture and Indian atmosphere in his paintings.

Debadeep was born in Kolkata in 1984, he is a graduate in Fine Arts from Rabindra Bharati University. He participated in various group and annual shows, including the Rabindra Bharati University, Academy of Fine Arts, Chemould Art Gallery, Tathya Kendra, Bimal Mitra Academy, Chrome Hotel & Hotel Hindustan International. He had his first solo show at Chemould Art Gallery in Mumbai early this year.
