Aniket Khupse was born in 1975 in Akola District, Maharashtra. He completed his Bachelors degree in Painting, in 1998, and Master’s degree in Portraiture, in 2000, from Sir J J School of Art, Mumbai. He has had solo exhibitions of his works at Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai; and Prithvi Art Gallery, Mumbai. He has also participated in several exhibitions, of which the prominent ones are at Studio Napean, Mumbai; Artist Centre, Mumbai; Nehru Centre, also in Mumbai, Asia Fusion Art Gallery, New York; Easel Art Gallery, Singapore; Museum Art Gallery, Mumbai; Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai, Tao Art Gallery, Mumbai; Exhibition at National Gallery of Modern Art, Mumbai. He was also part of the Saffron Art Online Auction with 100 artists, in 2002.

Aniket received the Camlin Award, by the Camlin Art Foundation, Mumbai, in 2004 along with 11 days of visit to Galleries and Museums at London and Paris, sponsored by the Camlin Art Foundation in 2005; and the Young Artist Scholarship by Dept. of Culture, Govt. of India during 2000-2002.
